As 2026 begins, we’re thrilled to welcome you to another exciting season at Predannack Anti-Aircraft Battery and Museum! A new year brings fresh energy, new displays, and fantastic events for visitors of all ages — and we can’t wait to share what’s in store.
This July, step back in time at our popular Weapons Through the Ages event, where history comes alive through fascinating demonstrations and displays spanning centuries of military development. In August, we’re delighted to welcome back Company B, bringing their authentic living history experience back to the battery for another memorable visit.
Over the winter, our Battery Command Post has undergone some exciting changes. We’ve installed a brand-new display of uniforms, enhanced the exhibits with improved lighting, and introduced more interactive features designed to engage and entertain the whole family.
There’s never been a better time to visit — join us in 2026 as we continue to preserve, share, and celebrate the history of this remarkable site.
Company "B" are Back!!!
We look forward to seeing you again at the exciting 2026 Company B Dance down at the Predannack Battery. Following the huge success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be welcoming Company B back once again for another fantastic evening. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates on when tickets go live. While it’s not essential, we warmly encourage anyone wishing to attend in period costume to do so, as it truly adds to the atmosphere and makes the occasion even more special. See you there.
Where else will you get to see this amount of weaponry spanning the past 500 years in one place? At Predannack Battery, we will have everything on display from the longbow and crossbows, through matchlocks and flintlocks, right up to the Lee-Enfield and the SLR—not to mention the big guns, including the Vickers 3.7 and the 25-pounder. Join us for an event that is quite literally going to go off with a bang.
